Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts.
- Follow established recipes and techniques to ensure consistency in product quality.
- Measure and assemble ingredients, as well as prepare and bake items according to our standards.
- Collaborate with the pastry team to execute daily production plans efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Contribute to the development of new pastry ideas and menu items.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience in pastry / bakery preparation.
- 1 minimum proven experience in a pastry or baking role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions with precision.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and delicious pastries.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
